Billy joined Gustafson Brothers 23 years ago, shortly after completing his Army tour as a heavy machine specialist. With a strong mechanical background and a passion for problem solving, he continued his education at Universal Technical Institute in Rancho Cucamonga. During that time, he was drawn to Huntington Beach—and to the culture and values he found at Gustafson Brothers. It didn’t take long for Billy to see that this was more than just a job; it was a place to build a career and a home for his family.
Over the years, Billy has grown into the role of senior technician and trusted mentor. He is the person many of our upcoming team members turn to for guidance, coaching, and real-world wisdom. Whether he is diagnosing a complex drivability issue or helping a younger tech understand a new system, Billy leads with patience, clarity, and a deep sense of responsibility. You will often find him right on the front line, literally in the middle of the action—exactly where you would expect a leader to be.
